Mark Margolis

“Unique Beauty and Surprises of Catasetum"
Mark Margolis is a retired Miami-Dade County Public Schools middle and junior high school science teacher with a 30-year teaching career and a non-commercial orchid grower for more than 35 years. While he grows many types of orchids, his specialty—and favorite—is the Catasetum group, with more than 1000 plants in his collection. Since September 2024, Mark has earned more than 150 awards from the American Orchid Society. A dedicated hobbyist and hybridizer, he will also bring divisions of many of his plants for sale. We look forward to Mark sharing the unique beauty and surprises of Catasetum at our March meeting.

Membership dues are $30.00 per person, per year for renewing members.
New Member dues are $35.00 per person for the first year.
Membership is September 1st through August 31st.
Dues can be paid by cash, check, credit card (4% service fee) or Zelle.
